Diane and I have been ministering to Native Americans for more than Twenty years. Over that span of time, we have ministered at Central Indian Bible College (defunct), officiated several reservation churches, developed a nontraditional ministerial training program in Washington State, and, today, operate the ministry we founded that this website represents, Native American Ministries of the Assemblies of God (NAM). NAM has partnered with churches in a number of states and has impacted tribal groups including Apache, Chippewa, Crow, Navajo, Sioux and a number of others.
Without a doubt, NAM’s success is due to the financial support, thousands of volunteers, and tons of supplies provided by churches, individuals, and corporations that give to this ministry out of a heart of compassion for the lost. Your interest in reservation ministry, in part, has led you to our website. I believe that God has also had a hand in bringing you here. Revelation 5:9b says, “…and your blood has ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.” (NLT) By partnering with NAM, you have the opportunity to bring to fulfillment this prophetic word.
We are an approachable organization. Emails, phone calls, and text messages are welcome. There is, in the field of Native American ministries, an endless array of short and long-term opportunities that include construction projects, our two auxiliary programs, leadership responsibilities, community outreaches and just about anything else that one can imagine.
