Education is a child’s ticket out of poverty. Native American Ministries is determined to help children on reservations across America get the supplies they need in order to get the education they deserve. All too often these kids are getting by, at best, with meager school supplies, and funds are dwindling to help them out. This is a problem that Native American Ministries is not afraid to tackle. With your help, we will hit it head on, and help reservation churches help the kids that they care about most. They need our help.
Here is how it works:
• Collect supplies from church groups, Sunday school classes, at work, or through community initiatives.
• Buy or get donated new backpacks and stuff them with the supplies you collected.
• Collect at least a $5.00 donation per backpack and send these funds to Native American Ministries along with the packs. Do not put the money inside of the packs.
Either mail the packs to the address provided, or schedule a service with me at which time I can come and personally pick them up.
Please place the following contents into the backpack that is suitable for either a boy or girl:
• Pencils
• Color pencils
• Washable markers
• Eraser
• Scissors
• Glue sticks
• White glue
• Spiral bound notebook paper
• Pens
• Pocket folders
• Crayons
• Ruler
• Facial tissue
