Missions Trips
Thinking of going on a missions trip in the near future? There are many cost effective and safe opportunities for teams to go to the reservation. Team capabilities, desires, and schedules are important considerations in determining when and where they go and the types of projects they do. Projects include both ministry and construction opportunities at all seasons of the year. Native American Ministries welcomes teams of all sizes and age groups. Since its beginning in 2005, NAM has been steadily growing in geographical scope, the number of reservation churches it assists, and the vast amount of resources that it utilizes such as volunteers, construction and ministry supplies, and operational funds. Because of the increased need for operational funding, the Division of U.S. Missions is requiring Diane and I to raise an additional $3,600 a month in financial support. This means that during 2012, our primary focus will be on support raising. We at Native American Ministries will still assist teams with logistics and field contact information but will not be traveling to the field.
