The Future Generations Run

In 2009, during the week of September 21-29, I  ran the full length of the Chief Big Foot Memorial Ride, a route approximately 300 miles long that meanders through the most desolate terrain of South Dakota. It was not a recreational run. My purpose was to  raise funds in order to build a new church facility in the village of Wakpala, which is located on the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation in South Dakota. Half of the reservation’s population is under 18 years of age, thus we named it the Future Generations Run. There is still considerable work to do at Wakpala, not to mention raising additional funds. In order to volunteer your services and donations, please personally contact me, Kc (Casey), by phone or email. Copies of a DVD about the run may be obtained for free upon request.
