My new book, “Afterburn: the Kc Kopaska Story,” is in print and is available for sale, though, I will not have hard copies in hand until 7 to 10 business days from the date of June 27th. The cost of the book is $13.95 + $2.50 for shipping and handling, if applicable. There is an additional fee for taxes of $1.08 for Missouri residents. In order to purchase a copy(s), please mail your payment to 107 East Halsey, Republic, MO 65738. The subtitle of the book is, “A story of tragedy, redemption, and transformation.” This is a great read for those that are experiencing difficult times in their lives or who simply love to be inspired by the triumph of God’s redeeming power in the most impossible of situations.
Your story has been a great help for me regarding perserverance and waiting on God. I have been through a lot in my life. I have learned that you can compare no one’s life to your own because each story is a gift to that person to grow us in our walk with God. Reading your struggles, and triumphs helped me to stay focus on the place I am at right now with my faith. The song “trust & obey” has been going through my mind since I began reading your story. I know that God is asking me to do that because I am at a critical point in my walk with Him. I agree that life was never meant to be easy. Learning to let go and let God has really taken on a new meaning in my life this past year, and that is a lot of what you had to do during your healing process. Thank you for sending me the book, your note inside, and the picture of you and your lovely wife. I am very glad to be a part of the ministry for the Native Americans. I can show my husband what we donate too. He has a very hard time giving to churches. He wants to know that the money is actually being used to help others not being used to fatten up church “coffers”.
